The Deccan Dyes & Chemical Industry is a reflection of the entrepreneurial vision of founder Late Mr. P. M. Bodas, a dynamic person with indomitable courage and will-power, set out to establish his traction into myriad activities with whose success today can be attributed to his determination to success.

He was the first Managing Director of Sahyadri Dyestuffs and Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. (In the year 1961), pioneer in manufacturing Basic dyes and also he has developed process for Ink Blue (Acid Blue 93.1), Basic Violet 14 and Acid Fuschin. His successor Mr. V.P. Bodas & R.P.Bodas shoulders with him into the development and foundation of Deccan Dyes & Chemical Industries.
